On a windy day like today is perfect for a bowl of Bun Bo Hue, a comfort food and, Pho Tay Do's specialty. Coming in they were quite busy, but considering so their service was quick, but since it was a bit of a wait they gave free egg rolls to compensate. I also ordered a rice dish with pork chops, shrimp, veggies and egg, which was beautifully presented with heart shapes on it and had a nice savory flavor to it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Pho Tay Do is an absolute gem for Vietnamese cuisine, and hands down, they serve the most tasty and savory yet clean Bun Bo Hue in DFW! Every sip of the broth is packed with rich, bold flavors, yet it doesn't feel heavy, it's perfectly balanced. The spice level is just right, giving a comforting kick without overpowering the dish. The noodles are cooked to perfection, and the meat is tender and plentiful, from the sliced beef to the pork hock and flavorful sausage. I can't recommend it enough. Pho Tay Do deserves all the praise for keeping tradition alive with such excellence!

We still drive a long time here after these years for the pho and bbh because it's still the best. So goood!

My grandpa got some blood work done and wanted to eat lunch right after. It was 9 am but a lot of Vietnamese restaurants are open early. We were the only people inside and our order was quickly taken. I got the bun Bo hue, which is a Vietnamese beef noodle soup. It comes with a huge veggie plate as well as a fermented fish paste and a sate chili sauce. They don't skimp on the meat here. I got tons of slices of meat and a single piece of Vietnamese ham. They also give you 4 pieces of bones with skin, meat, and fat around them. The broth is not that spicy unless you add a lot of the chili sate sauce. Overall I loved the meat, they were all tender. The broth however was not as good as I was expecting.

I travel quite the distance to eat at this place, And each and every time, it is always worth it. This has to be my favorite BBH ever. Definitely stop by if you're in the area.

FOOD Pho Combination (Dac Biet) - Pretty alright overall though nothing beats homemade pho. Broth was pretty decent but a little bit on the salty/sweet side but not necessarily by the typical pho spices. Generous portion of meat. Pretty average overall but I may just be pickier since pho at home is best. I would say it's probably good pho for people that typically go out and eat pho. VIBES Very family vibes. The tables are pretty much come in and sit. There were a lot of families and people coming just to simply have pho. Pretty casual overall. SERVICE Service is great! The people are all really nice and food came out really fast.

Although the restaurant is small, it gets extremely busy! You can tell this is an authentic veitnamese restaurant right when you walk in. You choose your seat and the server takes your order very promptly. I had the spicy beef noodle soup which was fantastic! They come in two sizes. The medium bowl is HUGE! Unless you want to eat a meal for 4, stick to the smaller bowl size. You won't be able to finish it. The soup broth is fantastic and the fresh veggies that you can add to the soup is amazing. I will definitely be back! Great job!

Service is simple, do not expect too much. Was seated right away, order taken within 10 mins, and food came out within 10 mins. We love our fresh veggies, so they gave us another plate for free. Bun Bo Hue: the OG, have to order. Super flavorful, fresh ingredients. I have noticed that there are less meat selection in there than before, but still delicious. (5/5) I do recommend adding in the extra shrimp paste to taste. I love mine with more umami, so I added a lot of those.

This is such a great place to go if you want some authentic Bun Bo Hue. They give you extra chili and paste in case you really want to kick up the flavor. I enjoyed the Pho here too. The broth has a great hearty, rich flavor that just cures any sicknesses you have. Warning: If you come right at 12pm or lunchtime on weekdays, it will be EXTREMELY busy. It's a long wait at that time because that's when all the folks come for their pick-me-up.

Came by with some friends and had a good dinner. I had the spring rolls and one of their beef pho. They give you a healthy plate of mixins that made the pho crunchy and delicious. If you like Vietnamese food, they have a bunch of different options that looked delicious.
